The Wolf Wilder ~ Fiction Friday ~

Hi! Instead of Foodie Friday, I’ll now be doing Fiction Friday! This is because I have some issues with food, and orthorexia, and right now Foodie Friday isn’t the best thing for my mental health. I hope you understand, and feel free to ask me anything you like!

This week, I want to talk about a book called ‘The Wolf Wilder’ by Katherine Rundell.

This book doesn’t seem to be very well-known, I bumped into it in a quirky little bookstore, and it’s stunning cover caught my eye!

This is a book for children, so the words are a little bigger on the page, and there are beautiful illustrations to aid your imagination, but don’t think it’s not worth reading as a grown up!

Though it’s not actually about magic in any way, it has an heir to it. Like you can feel magic within it’s pages.

It tells the story of a young girl who is wolf wilder in Russia, the adventures she has, and the challenges she must face. It’s wonderful story of kids being able to do incredible things, and take on the world, defeating the baddies!

It’s feel good, it’s magic without ever saying the word, and it’s definitely worth reading. I want to recommend it to you, and if you have already read it, or were going to, or if maybe this blogpost encourages you to read it, let me know what you think!

Keep Smiling!
