Be gentle with yourself, you’re doing the best you can!
It’s so easy to beat ourselves up, to never feel good enough, to view ourselves negatively. Be gentler.
Treat yourself like you would treat a friend in the same circumstances. You would not yell at your friend, or try to tear them down, so don’t do it to yourself!
There comes a time when it’s necessary to be your own best friend. It’s not easy, and it won’t come overnight, but it’s worth trying. If you love you, why shouldn’t everybody else love you too?
This week, make an effort to be nicer to yourself. Treat yourself gently, and make sure to look after you! If you can, do something special for yourself!
